I get panic attacks every time im outside my home. I only had to go to the hospital once. That was the first time I had it. I think I can blame the drinking and smoking. Cuz every time i drink, like i do every saturday. im sick for 3 4 days. And smoking makes it even worse. Im quiting all of the drinking and smoking after new year. And I reply if it has given improvments. I had this problem sinise august. And its taking over my life. Efects me, my job, friend and famely 2 much.

Hey Amy, wow I can really relate to everything your saying..I too had a major panic attack that kicked off my agoraphobia..I felt really sick, weak, and and had lots of tests like you and everything came back somewhat normal..so now I’m trying to decifer between if Im really physically sick or if its anxiety.I totally hear you..IM SICK OF IT TOO..lol….I’m so glad I found your channel..these videos we are doing is the evidence that were not alone..and thanks because this blog was helpful to me
Yeah i agree its always goo to know that your are not alone. I’m glad you can relate. Sunday January 4th 2009 is the Worldwide Walk for Anxiety. Its time for us to face our fears one step at a time. I’ll be heading out & videotaping my walk. Will you join so many of us worldwide?
You have a great attitude, and Im glad your getting out some.
I can surely relate to what your going through. I do know that people do recover from this and there is hope. I suspect your openness and attitude will help you with this.
God bless you
yes, i DO relate.. many of us do.. i also feel dizzy, nausous, off all of the stuff you feel when anxious.. and yes i also feel those lil ventures that seem so small to most are so huge to us i love the feeling of coming home & knowing i did it but home is where i too am most comfy and smaller places unlike malls, huge stores too. im sick of it too and i know i need to venture more. many of this vids remind me to DO & not just want to do..
I suffer for panic attacks for about 4 years when I attend church and when I have to sit still pretty much anywhere. It took a while for me to self diagnose the ailment. I have tried almost everything. You are lucky because you have a lot to work with. You are a fluent speaker, you are very friendly, and attractive. That’s just the stuff I know from watching you for a few minutes! Get out there and share your great personality with others! Good luck!
Aww thank you so much, you’re too sweet! you don’t give up either. staying positive helps along with an anti-anxiety diet.
I just found out i’ve been having attacks for about five years now. but i’ve never been to a doc before because my parents would threaten me that the doc would poke me with needles. but i’m going to see a doc monday i am 19 yrs old and i been having severe attacks for 5 yrs. and did not even know bout it. but i have confined myself to my room and basically all i do is read and draw i still do unless i go to work. thank you for telling me what is happening.
I totally understand what your feeling. I had tried alcohol, valuim…it worked but it turned into an addiction…now it’s baby steps for me too…I dont like the fact I had to use that to relize its a false feeling…and yeah when I have to meet with someone the next day …i’m a wreck all day just to go for a one or two hr getogether.. you seem to be on a good track god bless you

I feel the same way. I used to drink to help me open up and be more communicative but realized I wasn’t help my agoraphobia, just preventing my healing. I’m living clean like you and still not over my agoraphobia completely either. It’s hard for me to convince someone I have it because I’m always more comfortable in public with someone I’m comfortable around but when I’m alone in public I always feel criticized. I was compelled to respnd to this video cause you’re like the female version of me.
your not alown it happens to me in the mall all the time i sucks i take pills and ther hellping me a lot i go to a sicolagy and i worked i used to get sweety and thursty and cant breath but after i took the pills and wern to a sicolagist i feel beter
I’ve had this for about 5 years now. During my first week of panic attacks I visited the ER twice, thinking I had something seriously wrong with me. It took me over a year to cool-down to the point where I didn’t get them on a daily basis. I still get panic attacks on rare occasions. Usually when I’m way over stressed or over tired.
I have the same anxiety as you, with the agoraphobia!! Like we have the same exact symptoms. . its crazy. . .But like you I have been taking baby steps for the past 6 months, and I see you made this video in December, So what I want to know is how is your progress so far?
great video.. hope you are doing better..
aww i can completly understand were your coming from! ive had agoraphobia for so long but you know what, i have been almost cured in a month! all it took was a few friends to force me to go out a million times and i just got used to it. it was so hard though, i was that scared when they made me go out, i was vomiting and sweating and argh it was bad! but now im able to go pretty much anywere, just not to partys and places with lots of people becouse i still suffer from bad paranoia. ull be ok <3
