Anxiety attacks while Traveling.
An update on my trip to Portland, Oregon… Complete with panic attacks and car phobias! I had a great time though, and got to meet Craig Ferguson, which was probably the highlight of my year.

I’m glad you’re still happy from the show, and that it was a generally fantastic time, minus the drive. Good luck on the SSI thing if you decide to go through with it. I hated therapy when I had to go, but I hope it doesn’t count against your benefits or anything
no
I have never had any desire to go out and party, do any kind of drugs or have lots of sex… even if i wasn’t dealing with all these issues, i still don’t think it’s “me” to do stuff that other people my age do. I am just different. But thank you
I’m in the worst year of my life and noticed that Ringo was going to be on some show called The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. I don’t watch TV anymore, but decided I would tune in. Sixty seconds into the show, I laughed out loud and almost cried. I realized it was the first time I had laughed in 10 months. I was stunned. And grateful. So of course I had to watch the next night… knowing he’s had his own issues has been helpful, too, but what a gift to me. Wish he could know that.
I hear you, completely. The first time I watched Craig I was stunned to hear myself laugh out loud. I’ve cried about it, because sometimes his show is truly the thing that brightens my entire day (or night, hah). I just never thought happiness could come in the form of a Scottish late-night tv host, but it does. You aren’t alone. I hope he knows too, he is brilliant. *hug*
You defenitely want to find another counseling center that will help you with what you need. The hospitals that have psychiatric centers in them is also a good bet for information as well as treatment. You might find better treatment at a hospital by you – good luck – be well – I suffer as well -but my primary care physician writes it for me you can try that also. They should be helping not ignoring this. And if you ever start shaking uncontrollably, anxiety tremors,dangerous-go the hospital
Hello Honey, I am glad that you had a nice time watching the show and enjoyed it and i agree with lissxxv888 as well love you lots Stewart xox
Yeah, it’s not that those things are the cause(at least I don’t think they are), but they just make whatever ails you worse.
I have to admit though that I don’t know much about insomnia. The only times I really have a hard time sleeping is if I get obsessive about something.
I think this is the only real girl on YouTube.
Thank you
im so glad to see that the show helped you to feel better! i hope the good vibes will last for you!
– I think is a control isue, happens to me too.. I understand you perfectly..Believe me. – Is not the risk of accidents , is just you.. is just our damn mind.. I hate that you have no idea how much i hate that to happen to me.. Specially when you feel your stuck in traffic or .. well you understand me.. as I understand you.. what I do is hurt myself a bit..it helps ,looking at the street or freeway signs..the stores, other cars.. you get me..im sure.
I never mocked you.
I get a lot of anxiety when I am in the car with more than one person. I can ride with my husband but when you fill the car up with more people and everyone gets to talking and laughing loudly, boyyyy do I get the anxiety. It is very bad. I’m glad I found your video because now I know I’m not the only one who gets ‘car anxiety.’
what i do in these cases is taking beta blocker medication .they really help a lot. in my last flight i used beta blocker pills and they really help a lot. they hide my panic attacks and i was breathing very normally. my chest was not tight but my eyes was going red. my eyes was scary. it was an 8 hours flying. i hate hights, cars, elevators it sucks
NO offense but why do you say umm so much?? I’m not meaning this in a mean way at all. I was just wondering if it was a symptom from your diagnosis?
haha, I realize I do say that a lot. I don’t think it has anything to do with anxiety, I just don’t rehearse the videos and sometimes I get nervous and use “umm” as a crutch word, a lot of people do it I’ve noticed, especially in video blogs. I have been trying to stop though.
Thanks so much for posting this, you’re a really great girl
